Summary

As a proud Wiradjuri man with experience in healthcare, I am committed to improving access and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through my Australian School-based Apprenticeship in Allied Health Assistance with Indigenous Allied Health Australia and over 200 hours of clinical placement at The Canberra Hospital, University of Canberra Hospital, and several community environments, I have developed strong skills in patient care, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication. My passion for healthcare stems from a deep desire to support disadvantaged Indigenous communities, ensuring they receive equitable and respectful care.

I bring leadership experience as a School Vice-Captain, a representative in the ACT Youth Assembly, and an Ambassador for ASbA's combined with active involvement in initiatives like Gugan Gulwan and the ACT Human Rights Commission, where I advocate for equality and cultural awareness. With a personal understanding of healthcare challenges as someone diagnosed with epilepsy at age three, I am dedicated to bridging the gap between Indigenous communities and the healthcare system, fostering trust and collaboration in every interaction.
