Undergraduate Thesis – Study of Exhaust Flow Rules on Internal Combustion Engine Performance using AVL-FIRE

Project Research – Heat Pipes in Battery Thermal Management

  • Designed initial battery model in Ansys Fluent, including meshing and boundary layer definitions.
  • Programmed UDFs in C to simulate heat generation processes and produced time-dependent heat power curves.
  • Applied CFX simulations to evaluate the cooling performance of heat pipes embedded into the battery system.
