  • I was employed by Boody to set up the merchandising function in the business for the first time in its history. This involved being both planner and buyer, Establishing relationships with key stakeholders and educating the business about what Merchandise was, how it worked alongside other functions and how it would benefit the business
  • I manage the stocks, purchasing and planning for 3 at once wholesale channels, and 6 international websites alongside a changing number of royalty partners
  • I manage multiple multimillion dollar sales budget, 5 warehouses, up to 5000k SKUS, and a large and ever changing stockholding
  • Key Implementations were: Product hierarchy – defining what product was at a SKU level in terms of Category, Sub Category Season, Range and then using this hierarchy to inform business decisions
  • Exit process for products that were no longer viable for various reasons
  • Creating sales budgets at a Category and channel level and from this OTBs to drive correct purchasing units and improve productivity of SKUS
  • Working with the Product lead to introduce a greige program and amend the order cadence to improve FOB pricing and lead times
  • International RRP analysis and adjustment process – 6 currencies
  • A focus on reducing option count and the repetition of Fashion colour buys ( improve ST%, increase productivity)
  • Range plans to support the design and product team in their forward planning Capacity forecasts for the production team for different factories to help improve relationships and efficiencies
