Own, operate and manage GTR Automotive which includes working on vehicles, managing clients with regard to bookings and schedules, maintaining the accounting system, paying taxes, wages and all other aspects of the business.

Duties included observation of pregnant mares with regard to their welfare as they approached delivery time and, if required, assisting the mare to deliver her foal. Once the foal was delivered, I was required to fill out relevant documentation including all details of mare and foal with regard to weight, awareness and everything pertaining to the foal's first hours after birth along with weighing and inspecting the placenta. Also included were day-to-day feed and cleanliness of their environment and also ensuring that mother and foal were bonded and feeding well. I occasionally needed to administer intravenous medication as prescribed by a veterinarian or management. A variety of other tasks were also performed as required by management.
