I am a highly motivated and passionate Energy Professional with a diverse range of technical experiences in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and completed Post Graduate Diploma in Energy Studies and a Master of Science in Renewable Energy from Murdoch University under merit based Australian Endeavour Award. I have a good understanding of current energy market dynamics including theWA Wholesale Electricity Market. I have a proven track record of taking on new and challenging projects and successfully delivering projects for clients. I am a conscientious team member who works harmoniously with his peers to produce consistently good results. I thrive on innovation and finding new ways to improve the energy market/systems through the power of robust modelling and analysis with a learning attitude.

Energy Efficiency Officer

  • Drive the adoption of energy efficient practices and technologies in both City operations and the broader community, including renewable energy
  • Identify, design and implement energy-focussed behaviour change initiatives at City facilities, in conjunction with the relevant teams and facility managers
  • Identify opportunities and promote the uptake of energy efficient and renewable energy technologies both in the community and at City facilities
  • Maintain and enhance the City’s energy monitoring platform
  • Measure the City’s progress towards achieving its emissions reduction targets and strategic initiatives related to energy use, and communicate this with Council, staff and the community
