After 8 years of extensive international travel and time away from family and home, coupled with the untimely events which occurred just 3 months into my role at Crown Resorts where virtually my entire team (including my boss) were incarcerated in China (November 2016 through until September 2017) I took a well earned break to focus on my family (especially my two young children (then aged 9 and 11) and to care for my mother who was diagnosed in early 2017 with Multiple Myeloma. I am now refreshed and excited about the next phase of my working life to begin.
