Summary

At Cowra Health service, and throughout my 20 year nursing career I have always strived to mentor staff. I have personally attended education events, train the trainer events and aided in connecting nurses with relevant resources to advance their expertise within their respective fields. I am a manual handling educator, assisting with mandatory training days for our hospital staff aswell as Grenfell MPS.

Through doing this I have significantly enhanced patient care and outcomes. My active listening and multitasking skills fostered a supportive environment for new staff and the women/patients and babies/families they care for, contributing to a holistic healthcare approach. I am a thorough team player with strong organisational capabilities. I am experienced in handling numerous projects at once while ensuring accuracy. I am effective at prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines and have a thirst for my own knowledge that I wish to be quenched along the way. I feel this can be achieved in the position of Clinical Midwifery Educator at Cowra Health Service.
