I am a graduate teacher specialised in secondary school science, biology and chemistry. I am in the early stage of my teaching career and look forward to cultivate a teaching practice which reflect and encourage student agency, voice and sense of belonging in order to develop an intrinsic motivation and autonomy in the learning process.
Planned and enacted two lesson sequences for a period of 4 weeks for two cohorts of year 7 students (Unit - Forces), and two cohorts of year 8 students (Unit – Periodic table and elements). I was able to increase student participation and communication/feedback during live classes in year 7 by the end of the term.
Engaged in teaching and co-teaching students of years 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12, with diverse physical, social and intellectual developments.
