Title: Optimisation of CNC machine parameters for hard materials
Gained knowledge of manufacturing methods used in various CNC machines and learnt CNC programming in order to manufacture basic machining components.
Title: Designing machine components using Solidworks
Learnt about the basic functioning of particle accelerator and designed individual components of a Y-steerer and feedthrough and merged them together using Solidworks to form complete structures.
Title: Robotic arm movement using python programming
Learnt the procedure and applied it for linear translation and rotational motion of robotic arm by matrix manipulation using python programming.

2. Undergraduate Research Project
Title: Study of Mechanical Properties of Ternary Borides
Location: Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, TN, India
Duration: January to May, 2019
Brief Description: Detailed investigation of phase purity, homogeneity, morphology, hardness and elastic modulus of boride samples.
Individual Role: Testing hardness and elastic modulus by nanoindentation, X-Ray Diffraction to determine phase purity of samples, data acquisition and graphical representations for further analysis and reporting.
Tools/Machines Used: X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), nanoindentation machine, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS), Origin (for graphical representation), Latex (for documentation)
