Since starting with STA Civil 4 years ago my primary role within the company has been a mobile plant operator. I mostly operate excavators and skid steers however, I also have a lot of experience in Dozers, rollers and loaders. My experience as an operator ranges from general bulk earthworks to drainage and road pavement construction. I have lots of experience digging around live services also. Due to my trade background as a carpenter, I am also very hands on and open to working out of the machine. I have plenty of experience in drainage, concrete and formwork and just labouring in general. During my time with STA i have mostly been working on large scale civil construction projects such as the Westgate tunnel project, the metro tunnel project and mostly recently the North East Link tunnel.
