After the internship, I worked for a doctor in Orange, Ca , then moved to Newport Beach and ran a hospital there, while building the first of 6 hospital. I owned and ran Saddleback Animal Hospital until 2007. I wa injured in 1983 and after recovery I bought and sold 2 other hospitals. In the year to follow I built 2 of the hospitals in Irvine. With the knowledge from getting my CFP I managed 3 hospitals at a time for years. Major medial problems in 1995, after recovery we had sold all but Saddleback and I worked there til 2007 when we sold . In 2008 I bought another hospital and ran it til 2018. In 2018 til 2022 I worked relief work here in Tustin.
My best skills are surgery and business management. I was an original when Hospital managers Assos was formed and participated in Vet Study groups for years.
Over the years we trained 12 Associate vets and a lot of staff.
