After several years in the hospitality and retail industries, coupled with international experiences, I have decided to pursue my true passion for skin and beauty. In 2022, I successfully completed my Diploma of Beauty Therapy and have since been gaining hands-on experience in a salon setting, starting in August of the same year. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Graduate Diploma of Dermal Science, demonstrating my dedication to mastering advanced techniques and knowledge in the field.

My background has instilled in me excellent communication and customer service skills, which are vital in the beauty industry. I excel at building positive relationships with both clients and colleagues, understanding the importance of teamwork to deliver a service that exceeds expectations. Whether working collaboratively or independently, I am confident in my abilities and following instructions meticulously.

In my current role, I have acquired proficiency in a range of beauty and skincare techniques, including facials, microdermabrasion, needling, body treatments, waxing, spray tanning, and lashes and brows. However, my true passion lies in the skin and skin health. Currently enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Dermal Science with the AACDS, I am eager to expand my knowledge and skills in this specialized area.

Although I am relatively new to the industry, I am passionate and eager to learn. I am determined to become an exceptional Dermal/Skin Therapist and am excited about the prospect of learning from experienced professionals like yourself. I am confident that my dedication, coupled with the skills I have acquired, make me an ideal candidate for this role.

While I am currently studying, my availability is three days a week including Saturdays. However, upon completion of my studies, I am eager to transition into full-time employment. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to, and grow within your team at Skin Divinity Byron Bay.

Abbey Lang has been assisting myself as a teaching aid for the last 3 years. Abbey has also been employed and teaching classes for Brunswick Valley School of Dance from January 2016 Until December 2016 in various dance styles to children aged 3-18 years of age. It has been my greatest pleasure to have Abbey work as part of the Brunswick Valley School of Dance staff, as she is a competent and reliable worker who loves children and has a lovely manner about her when dealing with parents and especially to the children.

Abbeys tasks and responsibilities included opening up and shutting the halls, collecting term fees, preparing lesson plans, preparing and teaching choreography, working with children of all ages and personalities.

Abbey is always on time and extremely trustworthy. She is always willing to take on new tasks and always has a positive attitude to anything thrown her way.
