Undertaking the Transition To Practice Mental Health Program with rotations in Adult Inpatient Unit and Acute Crisis Intervention Service.

Currently Studying the post-graduate Master of Mental Health Nursing through Latrobe University.

Completed the GNP, with rotations in Ward 5 Mental health, Ward 2 Medical & Surgical and Emergency Department. Displayed the HEART values of MBPH.

I built foundation skills in nursing and person centered care, including personal hygiene assistance, skin assessments, basic wound care, feeding, communication, manual handling, facilitating group activities, palliative care, care for dementia, infection control and prevention and vital sign monitoring.

Provided holistic care to vulnerable clients with physical and mental disabilities, demonstrated excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport. Supported clients in the community and group based activities. Emphasized on building a safe and supportive space and delivering high standards of care. Demonstrated de-escalation skills and provided foundational nursing care and medication management.
