Title: POLYMERIC WASTE USE IN CONCRETE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PAVEMENTS
Tools : FIBERS
Synopsis: The property of concrete is that it is brittle and weak in tension. Also, there may be a formation of cracks when the placement of concrete is done. Due to these problems, the concrete may lead to failure and fracture due to the concrete’s lack of ductility. With the additional materials in concrete like fibers as reinforcing material, the concrete properties can be enhanced. So, the proper examination of the concrete properties when such fibers are mixed should be investigated.
Title: EVALUATION OF DIFFERENT AGGREGATES IN ASPHALT
Tools : Different aggregates
Synopsis: For paving the roads, aggregates are used. The strength of the pavement is determined by the individual property of the bitumen and aggregate. Aggregates are prepared by crushing of rocks whereas bitumen are the byproducts of petroleum. The rock quality determines the strength of the aggregates. The shape of the aggregate also determines the quality of the pavement. Research are done to find out the effective shape to improve the pavement.
