Duties and Responsibilities in Surface Preparation & Coating Inspection
Witnessing the Inspection of surface condition after blasting, standard of surface finish, surface finish roughness, Salt contamination test, Dust testing, WFT, Visual painting inspection, DFT, Pinhole/holiday test, Adhesion test, Impact test etc. Followed the painting and coating systems for storage tank, pressure vessels and pipes (TSA, Inorganic Zinc primer, polyamide epoxy, PFP & PUR Coatings)
Final inspection of coated surface.
Witnessing the STOPAQ and other heat shrink sealant application.
Witnessing the pressure test (Only for PQT) to check the performance of STOPAQ sealant.
Study of client specification and preparing technical procedure and ITP.
Experience of all coating inspection instruments/gauges and test kits in level of using.
Conversant to international codes ISO, SSPS and NACE.
Co coordinating with the client and TPI’s for inspection and prepare all the inspection and test reports.
Duties and Responsibilities in Thermal Insulation Inspection
Preparation of method statement/work instructions and ITP for all polyurethane foam testing and production process.
Carried out all raw material inspection for insulation and maintaining an inspection record for traceability.
Carried out all process and final inspection.
Performing Polyurethane foam testing with respect to EN 253, EN448 & EN 488
Performing destructive test for Pipe Assembly as per EN 253 such as Axial Shear strength, Impact Test, Tensioner Squeezer Test etc.
Qualification procedure for Euro Heat Power certification and revalidating the same by maintain the test procedures mentioned in EN 253.
Duties and Responsibilities in Production Supervising & Project Management
Detailed study of project and coordinating with the client for smooth execution.
Arranging the crew and raw materials, monitoring daily production output.
Reviewing the Technical data sheet and sharing the technical information to the applicator for smooth process.
Supplier evaluation and controlling the associated risk.
Planning and execution of project from start to end and updating the project status on daily basis.
Monitoring compliance to applicable standards, practices and considering safety in all aspects.
Managing the project team
Understand the project contract document and identify the gaps with the system.
Practices good negotiating skills.
Actively assist project superintendent with enforcement of site safety.
Shows respect for duties of other team member.
Participates in weekly subcontractor’s meeting.
Duties and Responsibilities in Material and Welding Inspection
Checking the quality of material and welding consumable according to the requirement and specification, as per ASME, API and AWS(Depending upon the material)
Visual and dimensional inspection of pressure vessel and piping in all process (Fabrication and welding)
Ensuring that weld inspection, examination and test are carried out and documented in accordance with the inspection and test plan.
Randomly checking the welding parameters according to the approved WPS (Ampere, Voltage, Travel speed and Gas Flow)
Checking the adequacy of equipment for preheating, welding, heat treatment and weld examination.
Monitoring the capabilities of each welder based on Radiographic Reports and maintaining a continuity record for each welder
Duties & Responsibilities in QHSE
Defining annual QA QC audit and assessment program in coordination with the QA QC leads and following their implementation at all levels.
Performing internal and external audits, rising where necessary appropriate corrective action requests and follow up with effective re-audit and close out.
Developing and maintaining Quality plans
Reviewing work procedures for quality content
Develops and implements QHSE managements systems, processes, and procedures that improve business operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS
