I have been clean and sober for over 6 years, finding my way into recovery through the 12-step program at Malvern Private and Alcoholics Anonymous. This journey has given me a strong understanding of addiction and a genuine desire to help others achieve sobriety and wellness. I'm actively involved in my recovery, dedicating time each day to my mental well-being, attending multiple AA meetings per week, engaging in ongoing therapy, sponsoring others, and serving as the secretary of my home group. I am currently working towards completing a dual Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) / Mental Health, and I am eager to use my experience and growing knowledge to help support others in overcoming their addiction.
