I commenced working in the security industry in 2005.
In the early years of my career, I developed my foundational skill set as a security officer and site supervisor across various retail sites.
From 2010 to 2019, I expanded my industry expertise by working as a security control room operator at various government sites including ASIC, Law Courts Building Sydney and ANSTO
In 2019, I secured a position with a contracted security company, working as the Security Manager at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Ultimo.
In 2021, my rapidly growing expertise in security systems was recognized, leading to my promotion to my current role as Manager, Physical Security Systems at the ABC. In this position, I have been responsible for site security design and project management within the National Security Project, which included 8 major metro sites and 48 regional sites. As part of the security management team, I have contributed to the development, review, and implementation of security governance, policies, procedures, and user manual documentation. Additionally, I have successfully project-managed smaller initiatives within the ABC related to physical security systems.
