  • Being a somewhat complex in-depth system, CommBiz users specifically, new users would usually need guidance and assistance on how to operate on the platform, to be brief, I, in my role am a specialist in CommBiz covering all functions
  • Of course, we are led by our statistics in what standards are being led by Commonwealth Bank in our customer service quality
  • I meet my expectations and excel in some

Business Support Specialist / Team Leader

Woolworths
01.2018 - 01.2021
  • My role focused on maintenance on accounts for businesses and supporting business orders and trades with Woolworths
  • While Woolworths is truly a retailer, we did accommodate bulk orders for businesses nationwide and the like
  • For instance, some of the business accounts we had, would require us to service events, which are not necessarily bulk orders
  • My duty was to see the entirety of a business account through from A-Z
  • I would setup up the account to accommodate the client’s needs: Remote location or multiple locations / Serviceable or Non-serviceable areas, Credit line, Item limits, Number of accounts required for the business
  • After building needed rapport with the client I would educate and make the customer aware of policies on their account via email and/or post
  • I would assist in placing the first few orders for the business so they can begin to place their orders on their own if that would be their preference
  • I would then take to the logistics side of bulk ordering as some businesses orders would be over $100 000 and would weigh over the 1 ton limit that our fleet can carry
  • I would therefore be contacting our contractors and placing an order for a bigger truck with them depending on the order, for time place of pick up and destination to drop off
  • Which could also require the receiving business to be able to receive such an order as their order would most likely be on pallets so they would require either a Pallet Jack or a Forklift with reasonable amount of labourers to receive the order as well
  • Then finally to accounts and billing for said account

Production Manager

Thyssenkrupp Materials
01.2017 - 01.2018
  • I was initially hired as the Inventory Controller, which was later changed to Production Manager.
  • I was responsible for everything that was received into the company and delivered from the company.
  • I was also responsible for managing our stock of aluminum and in the production of said aluminum, including how to cut it and deliver it to our clients, which consisted of companies like Boeing, motor companies, engineering clients, and the like.
  • Which did require critical decision-making regarding which parts were used for which jobs and clients.
  • I was also responsible for managing our sales representative’s goals to meet the client’s needs on a week-to-week basis.
  • During the pandemic, the company HQ GM decided to send all the employees whose jobs were mostly in the office to work from home.
  • I did succeed in performing my job from home for the most part, but it was difficult to direct a group of 10 laborers over the internet, some of whom had poor basic computer skills.

Warehouse Manager

CCM Electrical Whole Supply and Data
01.2014 - 01.2016
  • Received and processed incoming orders, ensuring accuracy of information.
  • Verified stock inventory levels and maintained records of items shipped and received.
  • Reported any damaged items or discrepancies in shipments to supervisor immediately.
  • Cross-checked order forms against actual products received or sent out for accuracy.
  • Assisted in developing strategies for improving efficiency of daily operations.
  • Provided training for new staff members on safe handling procedures.
  • Managed weekly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained.

Concrete Technician / Concrete Tester

Coffey Testing
01.2012 - 01.2014
  • I had two roles within this company, an onsite Concrete Tester and an in-lab/warehouse Concrete Technician
  • As a Concrete Tester I would drive from site to site and I would safely park close to the concrete trucks and begin testing the wetness and the strength (MP5) of the concrete with the appropriate tools on my UTE depending how many tests the client asked for
  • Usually the standard at Coffey was one test sample per 50 cubic square meters, however sometimes the client would ask for more or less
  • After I have completed a site’s tests, I would then do all the follow up reports and receipts of said tests in my UTE and then hand one of the copies to the foreman
  • I would then take samples from the concrete trucks and place them in cleaned out cylinders and leave them onsite for a day to be picked up by myself or another tester on their way to the lab/warehouse the following day where they would be further tested and/or stored by myself or another Technician in water to be tested for strength at different dates 30/60/90/105 days after being stored
  • In-lab/warehouse work would consist of helping Testers coming back to the warehouse to either load or unload concrete cylinders
  • Place sulphur caps on both ends of the cylinders to be stored and/or crushed for immediate results
  • The results and stored samples must all be on the system on the computer
  • Where higher up management who deal directly with clients would send the results etc..
  • Usually I drove a forklift to unload and load tools and dry concrete samples from high reach shelves
