I am currently employed by penske, i really enjoy working here and enjoy the challenges and tasks brought to me every day, i am learning alot here and enjoying my time. my job involves:

• Rebuilt components including engines, transmissions or braking systems when required instead of replacing with new parts, reducing costs for clients.
• Maintained detailed records of all completed repairs, ensuring proper documentation for future reference or warranty claims.
• Collaborated with team members to complete complex repair projects within tight deadlines.
• Stayed up-to-date with latest industry trends and technologies, attending workshops and training sessions to continually improve skills as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
• Minimized safety risks by adhering to strict safety protocols during all repair projects.
• Diagnosed and repaired diesel engines to restore functionality in heavy-duty vehicles.
• Utilized hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain diesel engines according to industry standards.
• Inspected and adjusted brakes, steering systems and wheel bearings to address related issues.
• Troubleshot and diagnosed problems with brakes, steering, and transmissions.
• Diagnosed mechanical problems for repair or replacement.
• Replaced and repaired fuel injection systems for diesel engines in buses and trucks.

I joined daimler trucks perth in november 2023 directly from england, during my time at daimler i got to learn about the american product frightliner and carried out alot of training in my time there.

• Stayed up-to-date with latest industry trends and technologies, attending workshops and training sessions to continually improve skills as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
• Assisted in the development and implementation of shop processes and procedures to improve overall efficiency and productivity.

• I started a heavy diesel mechanic roll at mercedes in 2021 which i really enjoyed, i learnt alot during my time at mercedes and spent alot of time doing diagnoses. i will be greatfull for the time i spent working there and people i met.

• I finished senior school after passing my gcse exams and went strait into apprenticeship with iveco which i learnt how to become a diesel mechanic through my apprenticeship with iveco, during this period i carried out many training courses.

at my time at iveco we were bought out by a bigger company who specialised in MAN aswell as IVECO, which is where i learnt about MAN product and carried out alot of training and diagnoses.
