Volunteering at the annual international professional badminton event and ensuring the success of the event by:

• Co-leading the accreditation team that is responsible for validating and providing access passes to tournament players, coaches and sponsors.
• Liaising with media and security team leaders to ensure the privacy and safety of the players and coaches.
• Liaising with the stadium team leaders in validating ticket holders and directing them to their seats.

Nyxity – Feel safe in the dark.

An IT project for social good developed by five master’s students from Monash University for their industry project experience. 

Nyxity is a website developed to help women who work or travel alone at night in the city of Melbourne feel safer. 

Through working with the team and acting as the primary data scientist, gained valuable experience in: 

• Determining and extracting reliable and relevant data from multiple data sources.
• Apply appropriate data cleaning and manipulations to merge datasets into one that is suitable and relevant for the project. Choose the best data visualisations to present findings to all types of audiences.
• Effectively communicate with team members to ensure cohesion and understanding of project goals and outcomes.
