I am currently a mature-age uni student and online music tutor. Prior to moving to Melbourne I worked as part of a music tuition company with an additional administrative role which overseeing the preparation and supply of curriculum material to teaching staff both for in-house private lessons and group classes in surrounding primary and secondary schools. I pride myself on being attentive to my students' needs ensuring both their satisfaction and continued development, and I like to think this is why I have retained many of my students across multiple years

  • aI teach one-on-one guitar lessons remotely as part of a music tuition company based in the ACT.
  • Prior to moving to Melbourne I also ran group music classes for Fretvision at a variety of schools in the Canberra area.
  • My duties at Fretvision also included a number of relevant administrative tasks, such as:
  • Overseeing the printing and replenishing of practice journals, blank music sheets and diagrams on a daily basis for use by a teaching staff of 8-12.
  • Printing, collating and binding of the various instructional books for different instruments as well as maintenance of supply levels
  • This would require substantial preparation and additional time and resources around the beginning of the school term, ensuring that all group classes were supplied with curriculum material
  • Basic printer maintenance (i.e, replacing colour laser cartridges)
