I have been working at Virgin Australia as Cabin Crew since June 2022. I have accomplished my Ground School training and throughout this time I have gained an extensive amount of knowledge on customer service and safety standards as well as handling tough, unexpected situations on board. I am a reliable Cabin Crew professional and throughout my time at Virgin Australia I have been flying over 40 domestic destinations as well as many international locations. I have experience in the airline industry and am highly motivated to take on any challenge.

Before being accepted at Virgin Australia as Cabin Crew I was an Assistant Store Manager for the large retail chain Platypus Shoes, this management experience gave me the experience and knowledge of team leadership and problem solving as well as relationship building while working in challenging and changing environments.

  • Conducting Safety Equipment and Security checks on the aircraft before passenger boarding to make sure the correct equipment was stowed on board as well as ensuring the Cabin and Galleys were safe from foreign and unusual objects.
  • Boarding and disembarking passengers, checking Boarding Passes to ensure details are correct and the correct passenger was on board.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service throughout the flight and during the service which included taking orders, preparing meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Briefing passengers on correct safety protocols, including passengers seated in an Emergency Exit, passengers carrying an Infant which requires an infant seatbelt, wheelchair and special needs passengers as well as unaccompanied minors traveling.
  • Helping and assisting passengers during any Emergency or Medical situation including administering Oxygen.
  • Submitting any reports from any unusual or safety related event on board.
