I am passionate about physical activity, from playing a range of sports to hiking in nature, which helps me maintain a high level of energy and focus. I enjoy reading and learning new skills, including foreign languages, which keeps me intellectually engaged and adaptable. Additionally, I take pleasure in creating illustrations and designs, fueling my creativity and attention to detail. These interests contribute to my well-rounded approach and dedication in all areas of life, including my pursuit of carpentry.
I have demonstrated strong leadership and teamwork skills through my upbringing, most notably being elected house captain senior year, as well as being appointed the leader of Kangaroo Island in state level football and basketball tournaments in middle/high school. Whilst my experience in hands-on roles and DIY projects is minimal, my volunteering to assist my local sporting clubs in clean ups and working bees highlights my commitment to hands-on work and community involvement. Furthermore, my passion for physical activity means I enjoy vigorous tasks that allow me to work outdoors, fitting for the role I am pursuing. Finally, I believe a career in carpentry would be suitable as it allows me to express and satisfy my creativity through structures and projects, utilising my skills in design and manual dexterity from sports will ensure I excel in this role.
