• Responsibilities include but not limited to: overseeing daily operations including access controls, cleaning, contractors management, conducting site visits with management, reporting hazards to operations manager, cctv monitoring, FIP isolations etc.

• Responsibilities at both jobs included:
• - Pro-actively ensuring the protection of merchandise, property and assets of the site and creating a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and Customers
• - Responding to emergency situations as they arise and accurately reporting all incidents to centre management.
• - Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and other recording systems and undertaking investigations into reports of offences
• - Liaising with the emergency services, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service.
• - Answering queries from customers regarding shopping centre and provide optimal level of customer service
• - Accurately updating administrative records and sheets.
• - Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
• - Managing staff schedules for all shifts and events
• - Staff training in regard to general procedures of working sites and SOPs provided by the client.
• - Conducting guard audits and making sure site remains compliant to general site audits.

• Advised recommendations to both operations and centre manager on requited maintenance and potential hazards that pose risk to customers.

• Overseen audit trails and compliance documents such a fire impairment notices, roof access permits, working at height permits, contractor sign in register etc.

• - Dealing with escalated incidents/patrons and making sure business is running smoothly.
• - Keeping the venue safe and secure for staff and customers by defusing aggression and evicting/refusing people where needed.
• - Providing First aid/CPR and contacting emergency services when required.
• - Leading the team of 22-25 officers/crowd controllers.
• - Making sure that incidents reports have been completed with all the details required.

• Patrolling designated premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Responding efficiently to onsite security alarms to ensure the security of the premise
• Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Liaising with Police/Fire departments in case of emergencies
