Adeline Baraka

This program consists of four six-month rotations across different areas of the business. I am currently in my third rotation with the Major Maintenance Delivery team in Western Australia, where I support project management activities for major maintenance projects on stations and facilities across the region.

Interned in the Pipelines Integrity Team and Risk & Engineering Services.

I was involved in the following work:

• Pipelines Fit for Purpose.
• CP monitoring.
• Pipeline Integrity Management Plan.
• Pipeline risk assessments.

• Tutored final-year civil engineers in the IDC (Integrated Design and Construction) class.
• Functioned as an "IDC Line Manager" for seven groups (three members per group) to communicate and help students meet deadlines and complete the Diary Proforma on a weekly basis, as well as conduct walk-around Q&As during the lecture.

• Oversaw daily operations, customer service, and inventory management
• Handled financial transactions and maintained accurate bookkeeping records
• Coordinated client and board meetings and supported general management tasks
• Served as acting manager in the absence of the general manager

• Conducted candidate assessments for academic and career alignment
• Advised students on international program entry requirements and expectations
• Evaluated academic credentials and language performance
• Supported program placement and follow-up

• Supported site engineers in fieldwork and technical surveying
• Participated in mapping, documentation, and administrative duties
• Gained hands-on exposure to highway project planning and site operations

• Delivered customer service in a high-paced environment
• Assisted with food delivery, order taking, and end-of-day operations
