• Best Buy Directory Services Project (Authentication team- Production Support) for the client Best Buy, :
• The project is about Directory Services Team (Authentication Services) for Best Buy
• Project involves providing infrastructure support to end users in the area of end user security & access provisioning in different environments like Windows/Unix/Mainframe & other native application which are on stand-alone mode
• The services should be capable of performing Identity and Access Management for End Users in the Best Buy environment
• Different Services are about supporting current Single Sign On, auto-provisioning, federation, audit/reporting, and multi-factor authentication infrastructure
• In addition, the services include end to end Support for the current Active Directory (AD) and other Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) based environments including administration, routine operations, and participates in the Windows Server OS upgrades for the AD environment
• And also, to support auto-provisioning and ad-hoc provisioning for the hosted Microsoft Office 365BestBuy email environment
• Overall, this project has major responsibility of security aspects in terms of access provisioning & frequent monitoring of native systems to check any unauthorized privileges being granted and to do weekly, monthly, quarterly PCI or SOX audits
• This project is executed following ITILv3 framework which involves Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Request Management, Documentation etc
• Responsibilities:
• Design, installation, configuration, upgrade, troubleshooting, tuning and maintenance of the 50+ SUN One directory servers (LDAP) version 5.2 P6 and DSEE 6.3.1.1 in Best Buy, responsible for holding all user LDAP information and for authenticating and providing authorization for various LDAP based applications
• Installation, configuration, Maintenance and monitoring of OAM servers (Oblix CoreID 7.0.4.3 & OAM 10 g) which are used for authentication in Single Sign On applications
• Understanding development issues and preparing the roadmap to resolve them in new Oracle Identity manager solution and fixing them
• Closely working with vendor in understanding the Best Buy Business, processes, and implementing the same in IDAM Authentication Track
• Resolving and Tracking incidents/service/change requests assigned to the Authentication and Provisioning Track
• Planning and execution of system improvement and development activities for Authentication and Provisioning Track
• Understanding development related issues and preparing a roadmap to resolve them in new Oracle Identity Manager Solution and fixing them
• Provide technical clarifications to Business team on application/process
• Handling all the incidents/problems meeting the SLA's and there is no customer complaint
• Handling L2 and L3 level activities

• The vision for IAM project for Telenor IDAM is to provide managed and controlled access to Telenor Services to ensure only authorized users are provided access
• As per customer requirement to build the new strategic IDAM and Access governance solution with customizations
• In addition, the IDAM solution ensures highly availability, designed to be extensible to meet future capacity requirements
• The system is envisaged to be scalable to accommodate the Telenor Employees, Contractor and Technical Support, providing Role Base Access Control
• My Job responsibilities include:
• Requirement gathering for new releases, Enhancement of the current Single Sign On solution and support the enhanced implementation
• Meeting/Discussions with Customer for the new requirements and enhancements
• Develop the design solution for the new requirements & support the existing Single Sign On solution
• Perform POCs in Test the solution in development environment for new enhancements and requirements
• Creation and maintenance SOP (Standard Operation processor ) & SMTD (System Maintenance Technical Document) documents and train the junior engineers (in offshore)
• Working with product vendors during critical or repetitive issues and thus understanding the product limitations and finding solutions to overcome the limitations

Program is to provide managed and controlled access to MTN Next! Services to ensure only authorized users are provided access
• As per the customer requirement to build the new strategic IDAM and Access governance solution with customization
• To achieve this objective, the new solution will utilize out of box functionality and connectors provided by OIM
• As part of the solution definition phase of this Plan and Define Phase, requirements were evaluated against OOB functionalities of OIM
• In addition, the new solution will highly ensure availability, designed to be extensible to meet future capacity requirements

• Fine tuning and testing of RF and GSM testing in of Mobile handsets using Darium software (Propriety software)

• And responsible to keep MRF (Manufacture failure rate) in low due to software or hardware failures.

• The project is about Identity and Access Management (IDAM) services for Best Buy
• Project involves providing infrastructure support to end users in end user security & access provisioning in different environments like Windows/Unix/Mainframe & other native application which are on stand-alone mode
• The services should be capable of performing Identity and Access Management for End Users in the Best Buy environment
• Different Services are about supporting current Single Sign On, auto-provisioning, federation, audit/reporting, and multi-factor authentication infrastructure
• This project is supported by 40 Engineers who will be responsible for different sub tracks of IDAM involving in providing different services like New User Provisioning, Access Rights etc
• In addition, the services include end to end Support for the current Active Directory (AD) and other Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) based Environments including administration, routine operations, and participates in the Windows Server OS upgrades for the AD environment
• And, to support auto-provisioning and ad-hoc provisioning for the hosted Microsoft Office 365 Best Buy email environment
