An experienced and self-motivated 2nd year university student studying manufacturing and mechatronics engineering at RMIT. I am reliable and enthusiastic, keen to challenge myself and desire to further my experience in the engineering field.
Along with my previous employment, over the past four years I have actively engaged in the completion of every level of the Duke of Edinburgh, completing the Gold Award in late 2022.
As part of the Awards, I have developed many skills including drone flying, soccer and athletic coaching as well as accounting and taxation work. The completion of the Duke of Edinburgh awards has seen me consistently spend over three hours each week, completing each aspect of the award, which involved working with community groups.
My participation in all three levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award has helped me gain experience in leadership roles within the community. Seeing these organisations from this perspective has given me greater appreciation for the work of volunteers and committees and has shown me how valuable their hard work and dedication is to the community
I have a hobby of making remote control planes and drones which has given me an introductory experience in modelling, primarily using a scalpel. Recently I acquired a 3D printer and have designed and printed a number of projects using it.
CAD software has been taught in schools since year 10 and I have become familiar with SolidWorks last year as part of my engineering course. Though I am not a master, I am well versed in the primary features.
