HV Mill Switching

Fault finding on Electrical equipment such as under speeds, motors, VSD'S, Temperature sensors, pressure TX, level transmitters, weightometers, solenoids, pneumatic valves, PH sensors and PLC's.

Using site Programs such as Allen Bradley PLC, Citect, and SAP

• Roy Hill SWORDP project Stage 1 commissioning point to point testing, earth testing and transformer testing
• Pipe bending and threading, cable tray install, HV cable pulls, earthing installs, wiring FIT's, switchboards and general light and power.

• Electrician in the shutdown crew for HES dealing with the maintenance and repairs on the HV equipment such as VSD'S, Transformers, motors, mv/HV breakers and contacts, earth switches and mcc's for FMG and Roy Hill.

• Shift electrician at Ravensthorpe mine site FQM
• General maintenance on lights, power, motors, instruments such as PH probes, FIT,s FIC's and alarms.

• Shutdown Electrician for Downer, SG controls and JT MEC Mine sites would include FMG, BHP and Telfer Type of work would include locking on and off, writing JHA's, doing take 5's, pull wire checks, stat and field checks, motor disconnects and reconnects, installing cameras, pipe bending and threading.

• Commercial retail stores and office fit outs
• Daily tasks would include deciphering drawings and plans, decommissioning old stores and offices, installing lights/power, centenary wire installs, cable tray installs, switchboard installation, working as a team with others on site (such as painters, carpenters, plumbers, site supervisor and the client), phone and data installs, data rack installation, emergency exit and lighting install and commissioning
• Insurance work Housing rewires, make safes/disconnects, fault finding, solar repairs, air con repairs, mains upgrades and switchboard upgrades
• Wiring transportable (instant Products)Burning through insulated walls, installing light/power, data points/rack and switchboards.

• General domestic maintenance in houses, schools, police stations and hospitals tasks would include replacing/installing electrical accessories (Fans, GPO's, Lights, RCD's, Data Points and Smoke alarms), Switchboard upgrades, Mains upgrades (overhead and underground), fault finding, test and tagging and RCD and EMG light testing.

• Served as a assistant installing lights/power, wall chasing, digging trenches and cleaning after the job

• Making quick decisions and the right call on the spot under pressure situations and zoning out on background noise and distractions to concentrate on my role as a referee

• 110 Hours of work experience such as carrying tools and cleaning for each job
