Summary

I have almost completed my Associate Degree of Engineering (Major in Civil Engineering) at the University of Southern Queensland, studying online, with only the mandatory work experience component remaining. Through my studies, I have developed a strong foundation in project scoping, AutoCAD drafting, engineering research, and technical report writing. My coursework has also prepared me with knowledge in road design, construction engineering, structural and building technology, asset planning and municipal services.

I am seeking on-the-job engineering experience where I can actively apply and further develop the technical knowledge and practical skills gained from my degree. I am particularly interested in opportunities with local government, as council roles provide valuable exposure to infrastructure delivery, asset management, and community-focused engineering projects.

My long-term career goal is to complete a Bachelor of Engineering and progress into a role as a Structural Engineer.

I previously completed a Diploma of Engineering in 2005 at Monash College. Although I subsequently pursued a career as a Chef, my aspiration to work as an engineer has remained. My extensive professional experience has developed a strong work ethic, discipline, teamwork capability, and commitment to quality, which I now bring to my engineering career pathway.
