I am a dedicated and qualified early childhood teacher with a passionate about contributing to the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of young children. I am an enthusiastic, creative and caring, versed in learning theories and practice, and seeking to provide exceptional quality teaching and care in an energetic team environment. My current role includes delivering a kindergarten program along with integrated school health program, social emotional, Jolly phonics program and all children being safe program. I have also taught basic science and geography, exploring continents and countries around the world. I have developed strong skills in creating fun and interactive learning activities and materials, observing and reporting on child development and conduct, and developing solid rapport with children, families and staff. Self-motivated with proven ability to work well either on my own or as a team member. Excellent communication skills with clients and staff alike. Ability to liaise with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner. Initiative and willingness to carry out any task given. Volunteered for six weeks in a rural community in Costa Rica during summer break from university, assisting with sustainable production of coffee and wider agricultural activities.
