I am a recent graduate from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor's degree in I.T. Systems Development. Throughout my degree, I have proven versatile and driven to learn and develop academically and as a person. I am actively looking for opportunities to grow professionally and extend my programming/I.T. pedigree in an environment where I can thrive and fulfill my potential. I have worked on and excelled in several groups and individual university projects that entailed skills crucial to a professional work setting in the I.T. Industry, which I elaborate on in my resume. I am experienced in developing with several languages, mainly C#, Java, and SQL; additionally, I have some experience with C++ & C. Furthermore, I have developed valuable interpersonal assets and technical knowledge in various subjects during my studies and working on diverse projects. I am bilingual and fluent in English but can also communicate in Arabic in situations where needed. I am also passionate about PC hardware and building PCs when I'm not coding.

E-commerce Web Application

02.2022 - 06.2022
  • Developed an e-commerce web application utilizing n-tier architecture.
  • Received top mark for the project and was given the opportunity for it to be used as a benchmark solution for other students.


GymJourney Mobile Application

10.2020 - 11.2020
  • For this project, we were assigned to design and develop a mobile application using C# and Xamarin that utilizes the native features of a phone.
  • I chose to design an application that allowed users to track their gym progress with journals and would enable them to look up gyms within a custom radius.
  • The project planning included a thorough UML diagram of data flow between application layers and development, including SQLite to store/retrieve data, JSON to interpret google Web API, C# for logic, and XAML for displaying views.

Work Integrated Learning Orientation App

02.2020 - 11.2020
  • In our Work Integrated Project, we had to create an orientation website for first-year university students to help familiarise themselves with the facilities and essentials of university & student life.
  • My role in the project involved:
  • Helping with coordinating meetings and duties for team members.
  • Identifying different demographics and their needs.
  • Designing an intuitive, all-inclusive user interface and planning the logical flow of information on the website (following HCI principles).
  • Researching information and diverse experiences of first-year students and presenting the information appropriately.
  • Coding at the front-end and back-end per industry coding practices.
  • Finalising and reviewing the report for the project.
  • The project was completed using agile/scrum methodologies.
  • All meetings were conducted online because of COVID.

2D Platformer Game

08.2019 - 10.2019
  • I have worked on a solo project where the goal was to design a 2D platformer with various levels.
  • It was my first time developing with Unity and C#
  • In my game, I decided to add unique RPG elements that exceeded the game logic specifications for the project, build eye-catching environments, include shooting/jetpack mechanics, and different types of opponents that made my game stand out; as a result, I received a high distinction.

IT Service Web Application

04.2019 - 05.2019
  • First major group assignment that I was involved in.
  • The project aimed to create a fully functional web application that mimics ServicesUoN.
  • The study entailed comprehensive UML diagrams and web application implementation compliant with MVC.
  • The web application involved admin/student sections to submit/manage I.T. requests, view/manage knowledge base, comment/edit information threads, notification system, and account management.
  • This was all done over one month, including a functional database connected to the web application.
  • I was heavily involved in the UML design and the back-end development.
  • The application was a success, and we received a high distinction.
