I worked the peak night shift at Star Casino as a Blackjack Dealer.

During my time there I:

-Handled cash transactions of up to $2000 AUD

-Managed games where each player could bet up to $5000

-Worked shifts at all times of the day and night (the casino was a 24/7 facility)

-Had to keep track of all transactions and money gambled throughout the shift

-Had to conduct fast accurate mental maths in my head since calculators were

forbidden and the casino wanted the games to happen quickly

-Had to ensure that the customers were not breaking any rules at the casino and

that the money was safe.

-Had to provide good quality customer service to customers

-Ran digital marketing

-Conducted search engine optimization

-Ran the business social media accounts

-Assisted with inventory when the owners requested

I volunteered as an assistant at the Mona Vale salvation army store. Here I:

-Handled point of sale transactions.

-Learned inventory stocktaking procedures,

-Ensured that noone stole goods at the store.

-Refurbished donated goods so that they could be resold.

-Helped with general duties at the store.
