Work History

Fitness Club Manager

Anytime Fitness
06.2020 - 04.2024

As Club Manager, I took on the majority of the duties required for the everyday function of the Club.

  • The key responsibility of the role was to hit KPI's on a weekly basis. Each Club I managed had their own KPI's and challenges that I needed to meet in order to fulfil my role.
  • Customer relations was also of very high priority. The Clubs that I managed ranged from 800-1700 members. I managed all of their accounts, focussing on retention, and the creating and maintaining of Club culture. Every year our Club was voted Best Club Culture in our franchise of 15 Clubs.
  • In total, I ran four different Anytime Fitness Clubs - Mt Colah, St Ives, Pennant Hills and Norwest. Each new Club was deemed a promotion and added many more responsibilities. The reason I was promoted from Club to Club was that before my taking over, they were not meeting their KPI's nor meeting the necessary standards that the franchise required. Senior Management requested that I implement the necessary changes and improvements to ensure that the Clubs did meet their standards and achieve the goals set out for them.
  • I was also required to keep the Club's day to day tasks up to date and ensure that all safety requirements were met. I was required to identify any areas where the Clubs were lacking and improve upon them in an effective and efficient manner.
