  • Crossrail West stations upgrade, The project involves the enhancement and upgrade of 13 existing stations on the Great Western line between Paddington and Reading stations in preparation for the new Crossrail train fleet
  • Works involve the enhancement of existing station buildings and concourses, platform extensions, earthing and bonding, OLE mast bases and associated Civil and M&E works adjacent to the existing operational railway
  • Including the installation of Driver Only Operated CCTV system, the first of its kind on a UK rail line
  • Design and construct contract developing Network Rail GRIP4 designs to detailed AFC designs in association with design consultant Arcadis
  • Client: Network Rail Contract value: £245 Million, value: £83.6 Million 1994 Doncaster Railport intermodal terminal
  • The provision of a twin track from the East Coast Main line to service a new site consisting of some 30,000m2 of pavement quality concrete hard standing

  • The project involved the construction of all Civil engineering infrastructure for the 430 MW Tuas combined cycle Gas/ Oil fired power station at Tuas Island in Singapore

  • Installation of 4400 number 35m long bored CFA piles
  • 2250 NR 18M long driven pre-cast concrete piles to foundations

  • This project was carried out on behalf of British Steel and the Yorkshire development Authority and involved the complete demolition and remediation of the 1000 Hectare Normanby steel works in Scunthorpe UK
  • Excavation of some 3,500,000 M3 of contaminated steel slag
  • Construction of two 1,000,000M3 capacity clay lined landfill cells incorporating leachate and gas collection systems to house the contaminated steel slag
  • Re-deposition of some 1,800,000 M3 of clay fill to form development plateaus
  • Demolition, crushing and processing of some 1,200,000 M3 of reinforced concrete foundations and underground structures
  • Installation of a ground water treatment system to treat high alkaline leachates
  • Licensed disposal of Asbestos, heavy metals, and special wastes
