The Loddon School is a British private school for children who have severe and complex learning difficulties. The children catered for have problems associated with autism and epilepsy, including self injury, aggression and disruptive behaviour.

• Being able to stay calm in serious situations
• Helping others when needed
• To carry out Housekeeping duties within your allocated area
• Completing cleaning check sheets and reporting any areas of concern to your Line Manager
• Adhering to PPE
• Making sure none of the cleaning products are left out and that there locked away in the designated cleaning cupboard out sight of children
• Vacuuming carpets, upholstery, dust control, mopping of hard surface flooring, machine buffing and spray cleaning of hard surface flooring
• Cleaning of bathrooms, toilets, sinks, baths, showers etc
• Emptying waste bins to include using the correct disposal according to Waste Policies
• To be conversant with the use and safe operation of mechanical/electrical cleaning equipment.

• Engaging with customers
• Taking orders in person and over the telephone
• Preparing food such as sandwich’s and bakery
• Preparing drinks such as hot and cold coffees, teas and drinks from the refrigerator
• Waiting on tables
• Clearing tables and washing up
• Making sure to always be friendly and always welcoming customers with a smile

• Answering the telephone
• Booking client appointments
• Consultations with Clients including advising on colour, treatments, and products to suit their needs
• Styling, cutting and colouring services
• Building relationships with clients ensuring they are happy and return
• Welcoming and looking after clients for the duration of their time within the salon, talking to them, providing refreshments, ensuring they are happy
• Maintaining personal hair station
• General housekeeping of the salon ensuring it is clean and tidy and items are well stocked.

• Vacuuming and sweeping floors, carpets, and rugs
• Making beds and changing linen
• Cleaning and sanitizes bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops
• Replenishes toiletries and towels

• Making sure the linen cupboards are restocked and kept tidy at all times
