Summary

Since completing Certificate III in Community Services in 2020 I was fortunate to gain employment with Youth Justice NSW as a Youth Officer.

I am passionate playing an active role in my community. Empowering our youth with self-determination whilst addressing the disproportionate number of Aboriginal children and young people in the juvenile justice system.

In recognition of my skills and attributes I have been able to successfully advance within my workplace to a Shift Supervisor role.

In my current position as Shift Supervisor I'm organised and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.

I've acted in a Unit Manager position from July- September 2023, which was a good experiences, keeping a unit running, checking security and unit/rooms each day for damages, listening to residents on their needs and wants and how I can help them, keep in contact with each residents family to let them know how they are going. Also working with the shift supervisor's if we have an incident, and working along side them and guiding them and backing them in their decisions.
