· Assist with managing the team to ensure compliance activities are conducted as per standard of work, meeting (OH) food safety management system (FSMS).
· Identify non-compliances, complete root cause analysis (using the 5 whys) in conjunction with operations to determine appropriate corrective actions.
· Other projects as required such as represent the technical function in NPD trials and continuous improvement project work, collate data, support audits, advise and report.

· Work with managers to clearly define the objectives and scope of the audit. Ensure everyone understands the purpose and what needs to be achieved to maintain compliance with:
a. 3rd Party Certification Standards (e.g. BRC, Coles)
b. In house GMP standards and food safety guidelines.
· Assisting in implementation of new product development trials and creating product specification.
· Completing new product packaging label reviews and annual label reviews for existing products.
· Conducting analytical, shelf- life, and organoleptic assessments for color, texture, taste, aroma, and external Nutrition panel testing on various products within the industry.
· Analyzing and ensuring analytically tested nutrition information panel falls within the tolerance levels.
· Perform product and process assessments and advise solutions for processing, packing and for quality issues.
· Drive continuous improvement through review of raw material, products, and processes
· Conducting quality control checks along the manufacturing line and engage in systematic approach in identifying quality/food safety concerns and provide dynamic solutions which involves utilizing technical knowledge around manufacturing, quality assurance processes and standards such as HACCP, TACCP, VACCP and BRC.
