starting with introducing Myself and a bit about My background. My name is Alan but known on many sites as Al. Throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to be a leading hand being apart of the construction of the LNG projects both in Gladstone and Darwin Inpex project aswell as on Curtis Island GLNG. I've also worked over in Karratha WA including many power-station shutdowns from NSW all the way up to central Qld. I was supervisor on Groote island throughout the rebuild of the wharf with over a decade of experience both supervising in scaffolding and safety management liaising with many other trades to reach success. Travelling around Australia as a fifo/ dido employee I know what it takes to construct both a safe and effective work environment. With a strong understanding of the site policies and procedures.. I have Proven strengths in planning, overseeing and signing off completed scaffold jobs on both gas plants and coal mining facilities. I'm a skilled worker and analytical problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication strengths with the client and fellow employees. I have an adaptable nature Competent Scaffolder and rigger with good leadership skills, demonstrated commitment to safety and expertise. with a strong situational awareness to operations without damaging sensitive equipment or injuring personnel as safety is priority.
