Alaina Hudson

I commenced this role in 2025 as a casual team member, working weekends alongside my school commitments. I continue to be employed in this position on a casual basis, working both weekdays and weekends as required.

In this role, I work with a variety of animals including horses, alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, and rabbits. The position involves travelling to clients’ homes and event venues, where we are responsible for setting up and packing down equipment and ensuring the safe handling and care of the animals.

This role has strengthened my ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, communicate professionally with clients, and engage positively with children. It has also required a high standard of responsibility in maintaining cleanliness, including the prompt removal of animal waste, hay, chaff, and other materials. I take pride in ensuring that all spaces are left clean, organised, and in excellent condition, often better than when we arrived.

I completed a two-week placement gaining exposure to various aspects of business operations. I assisted with preparing quotes, product labelling, and constructing flat lays, while developing practical workplace skills and an understanding of how businesses operate. This experience strengthened my attention to detail, organisational abilities, and teamwork skills.

Moved dogs, washed and dried them, performed health checks, and provided enrichment.

I worked at Domino's as a casual employee for about a year. During my role there, Served customers face to face and over the phone, enhancing customer experience. Prepared food accurately in fast-paced environment and handled cash and EFTPOS transactions, ensuring smooth operations. Maintained high food safety and hygiene standards, restocked supplies, and cleaned workstations to support a clean and efficient work area. This role taught me how to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while still working efficiently as part of a busy team.

I completed year 7 to year 12 at Rouse Hill Anglican College. I graduated with my Higher School Certificate (HSC) and achieved an ATAR over 60.
