  • I moved to this role as an off the floor centre support. My role was to assist the centre with quality practices and compliance. For administration purposed with CSO my role name was changed to Assistant Centre Manager.
  • First six months were very focused on establishing a strong foundation for the centre by ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing effective risk management strategies, and streamlining company policies and procedures. This is a critical step in creating a safe and well-organized environment that can then support the deeper, more relational work with educators and children.
  • Quality practices were improved on by supporting with the implementation of new rituals and an authentic quality improvement plan that the team were able to connect with.
  • Designed team meetings with a focus on empowering educators to develop a deeper understanding of their relationships with children and how to view behaviour as an unmet need. This approach is both insightful and impactful, as it shifts the perspective of behaviour from something negative or disruptive to an opportunity for growth and understanding.
