  • Additionally, I create and manage Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting purposes, utilise Vision 6 software for client communication, and streamline document processing with Adobe and Adobe Sign

  • During this internship, I worked with high-performance female athletes ranging in age from 18 to their early to mid-thirties
  • These athletes aimed to enhance their performance through physical training, skill development, and strategic planning, as well as prevent and rehabilitate injuries to maintain peak competition readiness
  • Whilst at the NRLW Titans, I learned to use new Catapult software and GPS tracking devices
  • I also learned how exercise scientists in the high-performance field analyse this data and input it into spreadsheets to calculate values that inform us on ways to adjust training loads or sessions for performance enhancement and injury prevention

Internal Placement

  • During this placement clientele that I worked with throughout this placement was older populations which were generally healthy population or who were clinical population, elite athletes that were competing in high jump, cycling and soccer, high school aged students in which some specialized in baseball and finally general healthy population clients
  • During my time at this site I conducted initial intakes, made body composition assessments, conducted exercise and fitness testing, designed multiple exercises sessions for a large majority of the clients listed above, with also selections of exercise modality, intensity and other prescription variables
  • Finally, I have also spent my time conducting exercise-based sessions that involved both a warm up and cool down, I have also been able to implement exercise sessions designed by an appropriately qualified health professional for a clinical client, during these sessions I have been also consistently monitoring clients either individually or in group style sessions

  • During my time at Woolworths Group, I was a part time customer service supervisor in the front-end department and a team member in the online department
  • In the front-end department, my role involved engaging with customers, working on the registers serving customers, working in self-serve and in the service desk/ smoke shop area
  • The supervision role involved organising and being responsible for staff, money, safety procedures, opening the store and closing the store
  • Working in the online department involves packing and organising customers' groceries
  • Working in both departments has allowed me to work in many ways with co-workers and customers
  • Working at Woolworths has exposed me to many new great experiences and has allowed me to expand my leadership knowledge, train other staff and finally learn new skills

  • My responsibilities in this role included coaching touch football teams in the morning and then attending their games to support and guide the girls
  • I also once a week I umpired various netball teams ranging from year sevens to year twelves

  • I valued the time that I spent with the girls and learnt a lot from undertaking these roles
