  • Operate articulated dump truck Komatsu HM400 and CAT740 in a safe, appropriate manner
  • Haul road base, aggregates and rock to designated areas specifically from quarry pit, e.g stockpiling aggregates on haul road to Sales Floor or rock straight into the Bin to be used for further plant production
  • Experience working on and assisting with mobile plant e.g changing wear plates/screens and basic maintenance duties of machines
  • Driving to weather conditions on edges, up slopes, haul roads and through stockpiles
  • Complete Take 5's daily, highlighting hazards around the area/truck
  • Carry out machine pre / post inspections and record / report any faults to supervisor
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and safety policies
  • Communication is key in hauling these loads and moving around site as road trucks would be passing/entering site/around the stockpiles
  • Learning the calls on the radio and different areas on site to call in and out

  • Communicating and engaging during toolbox to ensure all tasks are understood and any queries can be resolved
