• Monitor the patient's vital signs.
• Administering medications with the seven rights.
• Care for patients post-operatively in the acute care environment, and monitor for deterioration.
• Communicate with patients and families pre- and post-operatively.
• Positioning patients for surgery, perform safety checks.
• Preparing and handling instruments and surgical equipment.
• Ensure sterility is maintained throughout the duration of the surgical procedure.
  

• Experience in- ED, ICU, Med/Surg, Peads, Oncology & Dialysis wards
• 2 years experience part-time in PACU
• Observe, monitor, and record vital signs, and monitor for deterioration.
• Record fluid input and output, and observe skin integrity, including simple wound care.
• Manual handling and assistance with ADLs, with the correct donning and doffing of PPE, and infection control precautions.
• Complete patient documentation, and escalate formal incidents.

• Assisted clients with daily living needs to maintain self-esteem and general wellness through assistance with ADLs.
• Maintained accurate records of patient care, progress, concerns, and communication through documentation.
• Provided emotional and social support to clients by planning activities centered around their care plan.
• Used mobility equipment and manual handling skills required to facilitate the safe transfer of patients.

• Supported 20+ residents with ADLs during meal times, personal care, grooming, socialization, mobilization, and rest to enhance quality of life.
• Monitored skin integrity, provided basic wound care, and ensured the adherence to strict infection control measures within the facility.
• Contributed to safe handovers, documented patient care, and recorded vital signs. Escalated deteriorating patients to the RN.
• Developed meaningful relationships with the residents while delivering emotional support and companionship.
