  • Aug 2020 succeeded in becoming Woolworths first eCom manager
  • The Carrum Downs eStore was the first site of its kind for Woolworths incorporating automated picking and robotic technology to fulfil online customer orders
  • Hold technical and managerial responsibility of the site. Early onboarding granted me involvement into the initial testing and implementation of processes and procedures
  • I lead the recruiting and training of the initial department managers and 170+ team members.
  • Currently we fulfil over 4000 local customer orders per week with sales and results exceeding initial expectations through the peak of covid
  • All efficiency metrics have been met including but not limited to Sales and wages, Store controllable profit, Throughput, Voice of customer, Efficiency rates – Picking, Decanting, Dispatch and delivery
  • Key decision maker on the eCom floor and accountable for performance metrics of the site including Expenditure and budget performance, Customer satisfaction, Picking, decanting and performance rates, On Time completion and delivery of outbound orders

  • In Feb 2020 I was personally selected to open the Notting Hill temporary CFC/Dark store to help the state deal with the unprecedented online order demand caused by Covid-19
  • The site was devised in a matter of weeks and operated out of a factory in Notting Hill
  • The project came to a premature end due to the covid demand significantly dropping following the end of the current outbreak
  • I was then given the task to close and clear operations from the site
  • Responsibilities: Initial hiring and training of leadership team
  • Onboarding and training of 250 labour hire team members to run the operation
  • Lead the team in a never before tested environment
  • Key decision maker for operation
  • Devising and achievement of Performance metrics
  • Lead the team in Shutting down and efficient clearance of stock on completion of project
  • Stocktake and distribution of stock between warehouses and local stores

  • Due to my successful contribution to the Notting Hill pop-up CFC I was selected to Lead and be part of the implementation team of the newly devised Cranbourne Park temporary CFC
  • In a single week we closed the existing supermarket and under my lead created a fully functioning online customer fulfilment centre ( CFC Dark store) for local online home delivery
  • Once the team and site was stable my services were requested to open 2 further dark store sites at Dandenong and Karingal HUB during the second (or third) wave of the covid pandemic
  • Responsibilities: Given blank canvas to design pick route, staging area and changes to floor layout
  • Design Fully functional CFC from supermarket format across 3 sites
  • Train and lead leadership team and wider team to run processes end to end
  • Achievements: Positive relationship formed with Drake employment contractors at the Notting Hill CFC who continued through to other dark store sites.
  • Personally implemented the use of Drake labour hire at the Cranbourne park dark store site.

  • Towards the end of 2018 I was asked to lead the team at Woolworths Metro Caulfield North
  • The store was currently in the midst of an ongoing and challenging property matter
  • The matter resulted in a major refurbishment and had a major impact on the stores ways of working
  • During this period I devised several procedural standards to keep the team safe and minimize any negative impacts
  • I received great praise for my leadership and store performance as we continued to break sales records
  • The store also achieved the highest Voice of customer score for the year and one of the highest Voice of team results in the group
  • For FY19 I was honoured to receive the store manager of the year award for metro group 2.

  • In 2016 I made the transition into the metro group at the very busy and space challenging Swanston St Melbourne store
  • Within 12 months the store experienced a significant improvement in both voice of team and voice of customer
  • I lead the store through a busy time of change and experimental adjustments including 2 refurbishments
  • I upskilled several team members into leadership roles helping form the structure of the fast-growing Woolworths Metro Group
  • In 2018 I lead the opening of Brunswick North Metro
  • I was on board very early in the project and was able to contribute to store design and lead the recruitment process with our recruiting partners
  • The store results were well below initial estimates
  • I led the team in taking direct action to minimize losses in all areas of the business whilst maximizing positives in areas we were able to influence
  • Despite the challenges the store finished off the period under my leadership with the highest voice of team and voice of customer results in the group
  • My leadership was highly commended and as a result I was rated as High Performance for FY18.

  • Within 4 months I was transferred to Victoria’s leading Thomas Dux store, Armadale
  • At the end of FY15 I was rated as high performance in an underperforming group
  • 2015 the Woolworths Metro group forming in place of the closing Thomas Dux Group
  • Before joining the metro group I was heavily involved in the challenging task of winding down the Thomas Dux operations and making the transition of the final Thomas Dux stores to Metro.
