I was onboarded at Santos as the Projects Technical Assistant, with my main responsibilities consisting of overseeing daily operations, managing meetings and calendars, facilitating the onboarding process for new team members, and coordinating both internal and external reports. Progressing within the organisation, I assumed the role of a part time mobilising coordinator, focusing on flight arrangements to and from site and ensuring employees certification compliance. Recently, I transitioned to the cost control team, where I have been training in generating purchase orders, handling invoice processing, and practicing the use of various accounting software applications like SAP, COUPA, and Onelist.
My role at GV Lawyers was situated within the Strata division of the Law Firm. I worked within a team of three Paralegals and one Solicitor. My main duties within the team involved liaising with clients to obtain instructions, then executing these instructions by issuing Letters of Demands or Court Proceedings to debtors within the strata complexes of the client. From here, my tasks involved management of the files from beginning to end, liaising with both the client and the debtors, and acting as a mediator between the parties to come to a resolution to the conflict, as well as Court attendances when required.
My first role within GV Lawyers started as an office assistant. This role was very broad, with my main tasks including attending to the lodgement and delivery of legal documents to other entities, including The Department of State Revenue and Landgate. When not attending to these tasks, I would be situated in the office assisting with an assortment of administrative duties including filing, drafting of letters, answering and transferring telephone calls through the switchboard, managing the calendars of the Directors by arranging appointments as well as ordering stationary.
During High School, I commenced working part time at McDonalds in Gosnells, Western Australia. Throughout my time at McDonalds, I rotated around the business and experienced each different role within the store. My date-to-day duties including customer service, cash handling, dispute resolution, management of complaints, food and beverage preparation as well as ensuring the store was kept in line with the Food Safety Standard and the Work Health and Safety Requirements.
