- One significant project I was involved in from its inception to completion was Garden Hill
- Additionally, I undertook assignments in other locations such as apartments in Ivanhoe, Cheltenham, and several properties developed by Hickory in the CBD

- During my tenure as a steel framing apprentice, I encountered a unique challenge: my boss, who wasn't proficient in English, necessitated assistance in communicating with the site foreman
- Leveraging my proficiency in English and drawing from a modest background in architecture, I effectively bridged communication gaps between my boss and the site manager
- This facilitated smoother operations and aided the plastering team in identifying and rectifying potential errors before constructing the walls
- Additionally, my intervention helped resolve discrepancies such as mismatched finishing concrete in comparison to the floor plan
- Throughout this experience, I gained comprehensive knowledge, starting from drawing lines to mastering the intricacies of basic steel stud, door and window framing
- I delved into constructing ceiling frames and bulkheads, expanding my skill set considerably
- Over a span of approximately six months, I observed the transformation of the site, from bare concrete walls to the final stage of beautifully finished apartments, complete with flooring and joinery
