Summary

I am an experienced senior finance professional with a deep understanding of effective financial management in large scale agencies, most notably in the NSW Department of Education which supports over 130K staff and over 800K students across NSW. My extensive experience includes the provision of strategic advice and support to a large-scale technology directorate comprising 8 functional units and more than 660 employees, and a total recurrent and capital budget exceeding $380M. My role included management of operational budgets and large programs such as Technology for Learning, STEM and Connecting Country Schools. I am known for my excellent stakeholder engagement and the ability to support business units by translating complex financial concepts into customer focused, sustainable financial strategies which support organisational objectives. In doing so, I have consistently taken the approach of partnering with business units to understand their operational environments, challenges and opportunities, and worked with them to support their strategic business plans.
