The reason I became a machinist in the first place was to become a gunsmith because machining on fiarams is vast from threading ans chambering a barrel for a specific chambering and throat length to hand fitting and timing a 1911 action and trigger set

There is also something to be said about producing a product to the highest utmost precision and quality and to actually see how precise you can produce a rifle and to physically see the product print a 6in group at 1000 yards there is something special

I have been working we a local gunsmith as a machinist to produce various products from precision rifles, compertition shotguns and collectable big game rifles
