This local, independent cinema was my first job at the age of 14 years old. I stayed a Junior throughout my time there, however I did learn plenty of skills that I continue to implement to this day. These include:

• Effectively complete essential tasks inside of the tight time spans.
• Developed helpful techniques to maintain high quality and keep up guest satisfaction.
• Operating ticketing and concession systems.
• Managed inventory levels to secure adequate amount of stock are in supply at all times.
• Checked IDs to keep in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Scanned patrons' tickets and welcomed guests with a friendly smile.

Throughout my period at GOOD., I was given hands on insight into the behind-the-scenes of running a television station, handling licenced content and working on in-house productions. The skills learnt were:

• Supporting post-production processes to adhere to production timelines and quality standards.
• Developed familiarity with industry-standard software, growing my editing and production tools and efficiency.
• Ensured the completion of projects in timely manner, updating my supervisor on progress and verifying the programmes meet the specific content and technical requirements.
• Supported productions by setting up staging areas and operating equipment.

Following the closure of Bigscreen Cinemas Caloundra earlier in 2021, I was one of the few recommended to be carried over to the new management. In addition to the skills previously learnt and mentioned above, having been in the industry for nearing a decade, I have grown my wealth of knowledge while witnessing the progression of new technology and various changes within the cinema business.

• Supervise nighttime operations as a shift leader, delegating specific responsibilities to insure everyone has a role.
• Trained new staff by promoting an efficient workflow through open communication to insure cleanliness and topped up stock for the theatre rooms, toilets and candy bar respectively, to assure team and customer satisfaction.
• Streamline shift handover, maintaining a smooth transition of teams while communicating if there is any specific updates.
• Operated ticketing program and Theatre Management System for smooth customer transactions and scheduled sessions.
• Resolved complaints with thoughtful solutions and educated staff on strategies for challenging situations.
