Alex Wright

I'm an Advanced Trainee in Neurology currently employed at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia. I'm in the process of completing my third core year of advanced training in neurology. Prior to 2023 when I commenced Neurology training, I completed my RACP basic physician training and 6 months of General Medicine advanced training. I am a medical graduate of Flinders University's Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program. I also hold bachelor's degrees in nursing, health science and medical science and a master's degree in bioethics. I'm mature, organized and dedicated to my work and I thrive in team environments. I'm passionate about continuous, lifelong learning and medical education. I aspire to a lifelong career in clinical medicine. I have a particular interest in epilepsy and wish to pursue this further via fellowship training.
